Introducing LinkedIn CRM Connect for Pump: Connecting LinkedIn Recruiter and Microsoft Dynamics 365

Connect LinkedIn Recruiter with Pump, your recruitment CRM and ATS built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise, to reduce duplicate effort, improve candidate visibility and move sourced talent straight into live Requirement pipelines.

We are excited to announce Pump’s new integration with LinkedIn CRM Connect, helping recruitment agencies connect LinkedIn Recruiter directly with the candidate, client and Requirement workflows they already manage in Pump. For recruiters, delivery consultants and research teams, it means sourced candidates can move more smoothly from LinkedIn Recruiter into Pump, where they can be managed against live Requirements and progressed through the recruitment pipeline.

Because Pump is built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise, this is also an important step for agencies that want their recruitment technology to sit within the Microsoft CRM ecosystem. Pump’s integration uses the official Microsoft and LinkedIn APIs to connect LinkedIn Recruiter with Dynamics 365 through LinkedIn CRM Connect, while Sales Consultants can also benefit from the native Dynamics 365 integration with LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

What is Pump?

Pump is a recruitment CRM and ATS for recruitment agencies, built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise and the Microsoft Power Platform. It combines recruitment-specific workflows with the enterprise CRM capabilities of Dynamics 365, giving agencies one connected platform for managing clients, contacts, candidates, Requirements, applications, compliance, activity, automation and reporting.

That matters because Pump is not a standalone database sitting outside the Microsoft ecosystem. Recruiters work in a tailored recruitment experience, while the business benefits from its Microsoft CRM foundation, including the wider capabilities of Dynamics 365, Outlook, Teams, Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot and the broader Microsoft cloud.

Why this matters for recruitment agencies

Recruiters work at pace. They need to know whether a candidate is already known to the business, what relationship history exists, which jobs they are being considered for, and how best to approach them next. When information is split between LinkedIn Recruiter and a CRM, teams can lose time checking records, duplicating data entry, or leaving promising candidates disconnected from live opportunities.

LinkedIn CRM Connect is designed to reduce that friction by synchronising information between LinkedIn Recruiter and a connected CRM. With Pump now supporting LinkedIn CRM Connect, agencies can combine LinkedIn-powered sourcing with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise environment they use to manage recruitment delivery, candidate relationships and Requirement pipelines.

What the integration enables

  • 1-Click Export from LinkedIn Recruiter into Pump: Recruiters can export candidate profiles from LinkedIn Recruiter into Pump, reducing manual re-keying and helping build talent pools faster.

  • Attach candidates to a Requirement: Recruiters can add a LinkedIn-sourced candidate directly to the pipeline for a specific Requirement, helping consultants move quickly from search to shortlist, application, submission and placement workflows.

  • In-CRM visibility: Recruiters can identify when a LinkedIn member already exists in Pump, helping reduce duplicate records and avoid duplicated outreach.

  • LinkedIn profile context inside Pump: Recruiters can view LinkedIn member profile information in the context of the candidate record, supporting more relevant engagement.

  • CRM context inside LinkedIn Recruiter: Relevant information from Pump can be surfaced in LinkedIn Recruiter, helping recruiters understand existing candidate relationships without unnecessary system switching.

  • A connected sourcing-to-placement workflow: By joining up LinkedIn sourcing, Pump candidate records and Requirement pipelines, teams can spend less time on administration and more time progressing the right people for the right jobs.

The key advantage is that sourcing activity does not sit separately from delivery. Candidates found in LinkedIn Recruiter can be brought into Pump and connected to live Requirements, helping consultants move from search to shortlist without manually recreating pipeline activity in another system.

Practical benefits for recruitment team

  • Less duplicate data entry: Recruiters can reduce manual re-keying when moving candidate information from LinkedIn Recruiter into Pump.

  • Faster pipeline creation: Candidates can be connected to live Requirements sooner, helping teams move from search to shortlist more quickly.

  • Better candidate context: LinkedIn profile insight and Pump relationship history can support more relevant, informed outreach.

  • Reduced duplication: In-CRM visibility helps teams spot existing candidates before creating new records or contacting someone twice.

  • Stronger management visibility: Sourced candidates are connected to the Requirement pipeline, giving managers a clearer view of progress against live jobs.

  • A Microsoft-aligned CRM strategy: Agencies can extend the value of their Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise foundation while keeping recruiters focused on recruitment-specific workflows in Pump.

Add LinkedIn Sales Navigator for a joined-up Microsoft platform for delivery and sales consultants

While LinkedIn CRM Connect helps recruiters, delivery consultants and research teams connect LinkedIn Recruiter with Pump, the wider Microsoft and LinkedIn ecosystem can also support sales activity. For Sales Consultants, the integration between Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and LinkedIn Sales Navigatorcan surface LinkedIn Sales Navigator controls directly inside Dynamics 365 Sales forms, helping sales teams view LinkedIn member and company profile information without leaving the CRM.

Microsoft documents Sales Navigator controls for LinkedIn member profiles and company profiles, including top card information, news and conversation starters, mutual connections for introductions, related leads, and company profile information. Sales teams can also message or save a person as a lead in Sales Navigator. Together, Pump’s LinkedIn CRM Connect integration and the Dynamics 365 Sales integration with LinkedIn Sales Navigator give agencies a more joined-up way to use LinkedIn insight across candidate sourcing, client development and CRM activity.
